Voucher validity dates can be updated directly from the voucher's item details page.
You can change both the Valid from and Valid to dates across all supported voucher statuses, including vouchers that are Not yet valid.
How to Change a Voucher's Validity Dates
Open the order containing the voucher and navigate to the voucher's item details page.
Select:
Change validity dates
The dialog will show two fields:
Valid from
The date from which the voucher can be redeemed.
Valid to
The final date on which the voucher remains valid.
Update one or both dates, then confirm the change.
You do not need to manually change the voucher status.
The voucher's status is automatically calculated from the validity dates you enter.

How Validity Dates Affect Voucher Status
Changing the dates can automatically move a voucher between different statuses.
Make a Not Yet Valid Voucher Valid Immediately
If a voucher is currently Not yet valid, change the Valid from date to today.
Once confirmed, the voucher becomes Valid immediately and can be redeemed.
Move a Valid Voucher Back to Not Yet Valid
Change the Valid from date to a future date.
For example, if you set the Valid from date to 2 January, the voucher will become Not yet valid until that date is reached.
Change the Validity Window of a Not Yet Valid Voucher
Set both the Valid from and Valid to dates to dates in the future.
The voucher will remain Not yet valid, but its future validity period will be updated.
Extend a Valid Voucher
Change the Valid to date to a later date.
The voucher will remain Valid, with the new expiry date applied.
Expire a Voucher
Change the Valid to date to a date in the past.
The voucher will automatically become Expired.
Make an Expired Voucher Valid Again
Open the expired voucher and select Change validity dates.
Set a validity period that includes today's date.
Once confirmed, the voucher will become Valid again.
The Change validity dates option remains available on expired vouchers specifically to allow expired vouchers to be reactivated where required.
Booked Vouchers
Booked vouchers will retain their booking when their validity dates are changed.
Changing the validity dates does not remove or alter the existing booking.
There are two important behaviours to be aware of:
If the Valid to date is moved into the past, the voucher will become Expired, even if it has a booking.
If a booked voucher is unbooked and its Valid from date is still in the future, the voucher will return to Not yet valid status.
Vouchers That Cannot Be Changed
The Change validity dates option is not available for vouchers with the following statuses:
Redeemed
Cancelled
Refunded
These vouchers cannot have their validity period changed.
Date Validation
The system will prevent invalid validity periods from being saved.
You cannot confirm the change if:
The Valid from date is blank
The Valid to date is blank
The Valid from date is later than the Valid to date
Both dates must form a valid voucher period before the change can be confirmed.
Order History and Audit Trail
Every validity change is automatically recorded in the order history.
The history records the change along with the user who made it, providing a clear audit trail whenever voucher validity dates are updated.
